The Aviation English Course has been carefully developed for pilots (both aircraft and helicopter), Air Traffic Controllers, and Aviation Academy graduates seeking to enhance their communication skills and meet international language proficiency standards.
This course is specifically designed to prepare candidates for the English Language Proficiency (ELP) Test, whether conducted online or face-to-face. The training materials and assessment methods fully comply with the requirements of ICAO Document 9835 and SCAA (State Civil Aviation Authority) procedures, ensuring that participants receive instruction consistent with global aviation communication standards.
Throughout the course, participants will develop a thorough understanding of Aviation English communication strategies, focusing on both routine and non-routine operational situations. Emphasis is placed on practical language use, listening comprehension, pronunciation, fluency, vocabulary, and interaction — all key components assessed in the ELP test.
The program combines theoretical knowledge with extensive practice in radiotelephony phraseology and plain English communication, helping learners gain confidence in managing standard and emergency situations effectively.
Upon successful completion of the course and after passing the simulated examination, candidates will be awarded the appropriate Aviation English qualification at Level 4 or Level 5, in accordance with ICAO standards. This achievement signifies readiness to undertake the official ELP assessment and demonstrates the candidate’s ability to communicate safely and effectively in the international aviation environment.
